What are IMDA's responsibilities?
IMDA is a statutory board and as such it is responsible on the one hand for developing the infocomm media sector, and on the other for consumers protection. Its Personal Data Protection Commission is dedicated to safeguarding private users’ data. The other goals include developing the ecosystem, enablimg businesses, and empowering society.
