Can a Dissolved Company Be Restored?
- Published: 7 April 2026
Yes, a dissolved company can sometimes be restored to the register at Companies House.
One option is administrative restoration, which may be available if:
- You were a director or shareholder of the company.
- The company was struck off within the last six years.
- The company was trading at the time it was dissolved.
To apply, you must submit form RT01, pay the restoration fee, and file any outstanding documents such as accounts or confirmation statements.
If administrative restoration is not available, the company may still be restored through a court order.
