- Published: 19 January 2026
HSIC codes classify your company’s primary business activities for statistical purposes. All companies must select an HSIC code, which is used by the Census and Statistics Department. The system is hierarchical, ranging from broad Industry Sections (1-digit) to detailed Industry Sub-classes (6-digit).
Use Osome’s free HSIC search tool to identify the code that best describes your business activities: HSIC Code Search.
