When and How Should a Company Notify Business Commencement?

You must notify the Commissioner of Inland Revenue in writing within one month of starting business. The notification must state the nature and description of the business, the principal business address and the date business commenced.

Requirements:

• Notification must be submitted within one month of the business commencement date.
• You will need to provide the company’s business nature (up to 30 Chinese characters or 60 English characters, including punctuation, symbols, and spaces) and the date on which the business commenced.
