How Does Payroll Work With Osome in the UK?
- Published: 7 April 2026
When you run payroll with Osome, we guide you through each step to ensure your employees are paid correctly and that all HMRC obligations are met.
- Employee onboarding. We will ask you to complete the required HMRC starter forms so we can register employees on the payroll system. If an employee has a recent P45 from their previous employer, a starter form is not required.
- Monthly payroll confirmation. Each month, you must confirm employee working hours, bonuses, or changes in pay. This allows us to calculate gross pay, deductions, and net salaries accurately.
- Payroll submission and reporting. Once payroll is processed, we submit the required information to HMRC under the Real Time Information (RTI) system.
- Salary and tax payments. After submission, you pay employees’ net salaries, PAYE tax and National Insurance to HMRC using the figures shown on your P32 report.
This structured process ensures compliance, timely payments, and accurate reporting.
