After you grant permission to share your details, the bank will usually contact you to complete the application, often through a short phone or online verification process.

If the application is approved without additional checks, the account is typically opened immediately, and you will receive your account number and sort code on the same day. The debit card usually arrives within three to five working days.

In some cases, the bank may request additional documents for verification. When this happens, the review process may extend the timeline by up to five additional working days.
