How Does a Business Renewal Demand Note Work in Hong Kong?

A Renewal Demand Note is issued prior to expiry of the current Business Registration Certificate. If not received, notify the Commissioner in writing within one month and renew in person or by post. Once payment is made the demand note becomes a valid Business Registration Certificate.
Details:
- If not received, the company must notify the Commissioner in writing within one month.
- Renewal can be completed in person at the Business Registration Office, by post with the previous certificate and payment, or via electronic payment.
- Once payment is made, the demand note becomes a valid Business Registration Certificate.
