What Is a Certified True Copy (CTC) and How Long Does It Take?
- Published: 19 January 2026
A Certified True Copy (CTC) is a document verified as an exact copy of the original. A qualified authority, such as a notary public, lawyer, chartered accountant, or chartered secretary, certifies the copy by adding a stamp or signature. This is often required for legal, regulatory, or official purposes when the original cannot be submitted.
Details:
- CTCs are issued in wet ink only. Additional fees may apply for courier services.
- Typical turnaround time is 2–3 business days, depending on the number of documents to be certified.
