What Should I Know About Employment Pass Renewal, Cancellation, and Updating Personal Details?

Here are 3 important things to remember: Renew before expiry, cancel within a week after your last working day, and notify MOM of address changes within 5 days.
Osome helps with renewals and cancellations for stated fees. EP renewals require passport, ACRA profile and updated qualifications. Employers must notify MOM of salary reductions.
Renewal Considerations
Submit renewals within 6 months before expiry with required documents. Renewal outcome depends on continued eligibility. Make sure to renew your pass early so there’s sufficient time to get everything processed smoothly.
Cancelling an EP
Cancel within 1 week of the last working day. A Short Term Visit Pass (STVP) can be issued to help you with your departure arrangements.
Updating Personal Details
Notify MOM of residential or business address changes within 5 days. Osome can guide but cannot update on your behalf. Employers or pass holders must make the changes.
Salary Adjustments
Employers must notify MOM of salary reductions and the EP holder must still meet eligibility. Keep in mind that salary changes might impact the pass’s validity.
