Faster document matching on your Transactions page

August 2026
Accounting

You can now attach documents directly from your existing Osome Files or synced Google Drive straight to any transaction on your Transactions page — no downloading and re-uploading required.

Stop re-uploading what's already in Osome

When your accountant flags a missing receipt, the file is often already sitting safely inside your Osome Files tab or synced Google Drive. Previously, you had to re-download that PDF to your computer and drag it back into the transaction.

We’ve eliminated that extra loop. You can now select and attach any previously uploaded document directly from the transaction list in seconds.

Why this matters

  • Zero duplicate uploads: Pick existing files directly from Osome Files or Google Drive without saving them to your device first.
  • Instant document matching: Link receipts and invoices to "Needs Attention" items immediately to keep your bookkeeping moving.
  • Cleaner transaction logs: Avoid uploading multiple copies of the same vendor bill or purchase receipt.

How to attach an existing file

1. Locate the transaction

On your Transactions page, click Needs Attention or find any transaction flagged with Missing document.

2. Select "Upload from Osome Files"

Click the upload menu on the transaction row and choose Upload from Osome Files.

3. Pick your document and confirm

Browse your uploaded library or synced Google Drive folders, check the matching file, and click Confirm. Your document links instantly, moving the status straight to Processing.
